Glenn Gaul took this 20-pound gobbler with 10-inch beard at Leatherstocking Guide Service in Milford, New York, and is shown with a “Final Step” purple heart slate call custom made by James Dietz.
I played your calls and everyone is very impressed! Look great and sure sound great! Your calls stack up to anything I carry. And I’m carrying some hall of fame call makers. Can’t wait till morning!!!
Well Jim. I just can’t seem to christen this call. But it’s not the calls fault! Rainy weather…I honestly like your call better than any in my vest. Nice weather – your call stacks up equally with the other calls I carry, and costs a lot less. I gave your number to the Amish guys here. You might hear from them. Lots of active hens here that are still interacting with the gobblers. We killed another today but it’s tough sledding.
